paul and the romans

Paul told the Romans he was an apostle of Christ. He was set apart to tell the good news. Paul said God promised the good news long ago.

Jesus was appointed to be the Son of God because he rose from the dead.

Paul received God’s grace so he could bring glory to God.

I received God’s grace because of what Jesus did so that I could bring glory to him.

Romans 1:5 (NIrV)

Paul told the Romans that he served God with his whole heart. It was God’s plan for Paul to visit Rome. Paul wanted to preach the good news in Rome.
